How to shop on a budget.

The idea of shopping can be a daunting task for some people. The thought of scavenging through racks, trying on clothes, and most of all, the cost of buying new pieces can be extremely overwhelming. I always ask people who I come across who hate shopping, "What's not to love about it"? Everything that they dislike I adore. I am a fanatic when it comes to shopping, and I have mastered my groove when it comes to finding high-quality pieces for cheap. I get an adrenaline rush when I find super trendy sections on sale. I like to consider myself the queen of having champagne taste on a beer budget, and I want to share my tips and tricks for budget shopping. I rarely pay full price for anything when it comes to shopping unless I am shopping at a discounted store such as TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, etc. Here is a list of my quick tips for buying on a budget. 1. Always start at lower-end retail stores. Places such as TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshalls, most trends can be found any and everywhere. If the trend this spring is denim, you will be able to find it in Nordstroms as well as a Rainbow or Citi Trends for the low. 2. Take advantage of influencer affiliate links. Most Youtube Influencers create video contact sharing their fashion hauls for different brands, and they will include a coupon code that you can take advantage of at a discounted price. Even if you don't follow too many influencers, Youtube is a great place to find fashion haul videos. Just type in things like Boohoo Spring Fashion Haul, and a plethora of influencer videos will appear. Check the description for a coupon code and add those things to your cart. 3. Buy for opposite seasons. Towards the end of the season, purchase items that are on clearance and save them for the following year. Doing this is perfect for finding inexpensive coats, bathing suits, winter boots, and cute summer sandals. 4. Become a member of UniDays; this is a website geared towards college students. You do not need to be in undergrad. You can use your graduate college email as well. UniDays is a website/App filled with a list of deals for fashion, beauty, health & fitness, technology, etc. I hope some of these tips help you all with your shopping endeavors. If you have some tips that were not listed, please share. If you need assistance with personal shopping, shoot me a message. With Love, xoxo CarrieSierra
